A hernia is a fatty tissue or organ which erupts or pushes through the surrounding wall or tissue. Hernias do not get resolved on their own, and might even get bigger with time. There are different kinds of hernias:

Inguinal Hernia

Hiatal Hernia

A part of the upper stomach is pushed out of the diaphragm creating this kind of a hernia.

Some common reasons why a hernia occurs are:

  4. Weight gain
